About Me

Education

Originally hailing from the northeast, I moved to Longview, Texas to study Electrical Engineering at LeTourneau University starting in 2010. After finishing my B.S. in Electrical Engineering in December of 2013 and my M.S. in Electrical Engineering in August of 2014 under Dr. Seung Kim I moved to Pasadena, California to begin my PhD studies in the Biophotonics Laboratory at the California Institute of Technology under Prof. Changhuei Yang.

Interests

As a researcher in the Biophotonics Laboratory I hope to develop novel biophotonic tools for biologists and neuroscientists. My background and fields of interest include: hardware engineering and circuit design, optics, wavefront shaping, and programming.
